Suzie and Alan and Travis,

The obituary was a beautiful depiction of Lauren's life. I'm sorry I didn't get the opportunity to know Lauren better. My brief encounter with her on a conference call several weeks ago never would have given me the slightest thought that she had been battling a very serious life-threatening illness. But I guess that was who she was.

I was so saddened to hear of Lauren's passing. I remember her from her days as my music student at Palmetto Elementary School. She was a bright, warm and loving child. My sympathies to all of you and especially Susie and Alan whom I remember as amazing parents to Lauren with very fond memories.
